Barrio de las Letras

The Barrio de las Letras -The Art District-, is located in the center of Madrid, from the calle del Prado to the Plaza del Angel, and from the calle Atocha to the Paseo del Prado.
It is called like this because many famous authors lived in this area like Lope de Vega and Quevedo.
It is a pedestrian area.
The Plaza de Santa Ana and the Calle de Huertas are very popular because of their many bars and tascas.
