Museums and Parks

This tour will take to the most famous museums in Madrid and also, in order to relax, to two of the most beautiful parks. Depending on the time you wish to spend in the museums, this tour can take from two hours up to several months!!!!!

Start at Atocha. Have a look at the Ministry of Agriculture. Cross to the other side and visit the Reina Sofia Art Center.

Return to Atocha and visit the bar "El Brillante", famous for its bocadillos de calamares (squid baguette)..

Go in direction to Plaza de Neptuno.

On the left you will see the Caixa Forum with its vertical garden. Entrance to Caixa Forum is free and the building itself is worth a visit.

Cross Paseo del Prado, because on the opposite side is the Royal Botanic Garden. A peaceful place in the middle of the city.

After having a walk through the garden, just in front of the entrance is the Prado Museum, although the entrance is near to Plaza de Neptuno.

Behind the Prado Museum you can visit the San Jeronimo el Real Church, one of the most important churches in Madrid.

From the church go in direction to Retiro Park, where you can spend the rest of the day.
