Hotel Vincci Via 66

Located at Gran Vía 66 , in the same building of the Compac Gran Via Theater, we find

the Vincci Vía 66 Hotel.

Its discreet entrance hall contrasts with the glamour of its interior.

While the Vincci Capitol is dedicated to the cinema, the Vincci Via 66 takes us to the world of theater and its stars. Big pictures of actresses of last century and the splendor age of theater invite us to revive the roaring twenties.

The building was inaugurated in 1944. The architect was Germán Alvarez de Sotomayor . It was one of the last skyscraper built in the Gran Via. Before there used to be the Mostenses Market . What is now the Compac Theater used to be a cinema with a capacity of thousand people. The rest of the building was occupied by offices and commercial premises. In the year 2006 it was decided to dedicate this part of the building to house a hotel and it was inaugurated a year later.

The floor and the staircase are the original ones, as well as the stained glass windows. Everything that surrounds us has the flair of theater. The rooms become stars' dressing rooms getting ready for next show.

The hotel has 116 rooms, one of them a premier room with a big terrace, seven upper class

rooms and seven individual ones. Internet access is free.

On the ground flor is the restaurant and also a nice area used as cafeteria or bar.

The clients have the opportunity to make a one hour full spa treatment at the hotel Namu Corner.

On the top roof is a splendid terrace, only for clients, with spectacular views of the Gran Via.

With its original decoration and location the Vincci Via 66 is an ideal hotel for a stay in the capital.
